Micro-Historias born from the desire to share an experience of civil service abroad who scored significantly the lives of eight volunteers. The micro-stories in this book are flash, images of Santiago that we have lived for 10 months, from November 2005 to September 2006. It is our Santiago, the everyday, the capital of a country that lived during this period big changes: the election for the first time in the history of Chile, a woman for president, the dismantling of the largest slum in Chile, the Mapuche Indians of hunger strikes to the demonstrations of students in secondary schools, from micros Amarillas Plan to Transantiago , raccontatoci transition from urban singers and street performers, from street vendors or even by public transport drivers of these loved and hated at the same time. Through the eyes of eight young Italian who, thanks to the hard work with those most in need and often the most difficult neighborhoods of the city, have approached the Chilean society and its social movements, potendo quindi descriverci direttamente la vera faccia del cosiddetto "giaguaro dell'America Latina".
